Setting up Binance Smart Chain
Setting up the BSC Mainnet on MetaMask.

The following is an outline on how to set up the network to interact with smart contracts available through DeFi protocols on the Binance Smart Chain.

Select the colorful image on the top right of the screen for a dropbox to appear. Select 'Settings'.

Select 'Networks'

Select 'Add Network'

Enter the below details into the empty fields that appear. Select 'Save'.
| |
Network Name | Binance Smart Chain |
New RPC URL | |
Chain ID | 0x38, 56 in decimal (if 56 doesn’t work, try 0x38) |
Symbol | BNB |
Block Explorer |
If you experience difficulties in accessing Binance Smart Chain after these steps please consult Binance Docs https://docs.binance.org/smart-chain/wallet/metamask.html. Any difficulties will likely be resolved by changing to an accepted alternative 'New RPC URL' and 'Chain ID'.
Congratulations, your wallet can now plug-in to the BSC.
